Client Terms & Payment

Client Terms & Payment | Malik Gaming Studio Ltd

These terms apply to game development services provided by Malik Gaming Studio Ltd ("the Company", "I"), registered in England and Wales, company number 17467705, to clients ("you"). They apply unless a signed project agreement says otherwise.

1. Scope of work
Each project starts with a written scope covering deliverables, timeline and price. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and only starts once you approve it in writing.

2. Quotes and payment

  • Projects are quoted as fixed-price or milestone-based.
  • Unless agreed otherwise, a 50% deposit is due before work starts, with the balance due on delivery or split across milestones.
  • Invoices are due within 7 days of issue.
  • Payments are accepted by card (processed via PayPal Business Gateway or by Stripe), bank transfer, PayPal commercial merchant invoicing ,Wise or Payoneer. Currency is stated on the invoice.
  • The Company does not store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by PayPal Business Gateway or Stripe.

3. Late payment
Overdue invoices may incur statutory interest and compensation under the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Work may be paused while an invoice is overdue.

4. Taxes
Prices exclude any taxes, duties or bank and platform fees that apply in your country. You are responsible for those unless the invoice states otherwise.

5. Revisions and feedback
Each milestone includes 3 rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. Further revisions or changes of direction are billed as extra work.

6. Client responsibilities
You will provide briefs, assets, accounts and feedback in good time. Delays on your side may move the delivery dates.

7. Delivery and support
Delivery includes the build and, unless the scope says otherwise, the Unity project source with handover notes. Bugs in delivered work that fall within the agreed scope are fixed free of charge for 14 days after delivery.

8. Intellectual property
Ownership of the custom code and assets created for you transfers to you once the invoice is paid in full. Until then, the Company retains ownership. Third-party assets, plugins and engine components stay under their own licenses. I may reuse general techniques and non-project-specific code libraries. Unless you ask otherwise, I may show completed work in my portfolio.

9. Confidentiality
I keep non-public project information confidential and will sign an NDA on request.

10. Cancellation and refunds

  • You may cancel a project at any time in writing.
  • Work completed up to the cancellation date is invoiced. Deposits cover work already started and are non-refundable once work has begun.
  • If I cannot deliver agreed work, payment for the undelivered portion will be refunded.

11. Store publishing and results
I don't control Google Play, the App Store or other platforms' review decisions, and I can't guarantee approval, downloads, revenue or rankings.

12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Company's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project. The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost revenue or lost data.

13. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you have a problem with an invoice, contact me first at malikgaminginc@gmail.com so I can resolve it directly before any card dispute is raised.

14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
